Our coffee comes from the fields in the region of Kasese and Fort Portal on the foothills of mystical Mt. Rwenzori in the west on the border with DR of Congo, the region of Mbale on Mt. Elgon on the border with Kenia in the east and Masaka region in the valley of Lake Victoria. We grow Robusta – a type of coffee with the strongest caffeine concentration and highest quality known as Nganda and Erecta and combine it with Arabica varieties that are grown on higher altitudes. The harvest is ceremonial, and our farmers hand pick only the ripest of fruits, with care and affection and produce our coffee using the Natural Process. After depulping we dry our coffee beans on raised beds under the sun.
